Western Career College was founded in 1967 in Sacramento, California. In 1983, the college was purchased by the Education Corporation of America (EdCOA). In 1986, Western Career College opened a second campus in San Leandro, California. The third campus of Western Career College was opened in Pleasant Hill, California in 1997. Each campus has classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest health care tools. Each campus has a centrally located library with books and equipment specifically chosen to support current curriculum.
