Based in Sacramento , Scott Brownholtz is the President of Brownholtz & Associates, LLC where he manages the Firm's utility recruiting practice. Scott focuses on providing recruiting solutions and consulting services to clients in both the regulated and competitive utility vertical markets. Scott acts as an agent for corporate athletes who consistently outperform their peers. Previously Scott worked for a large international recruiting Firm where he was one of the most distinguished recruiters in the history of the company. He earned numerous awards including top franchise, regional, national and global producer as well as peer recognition for his efforts in training and development. Scott created and founded the energy recruiting subsidiary where he managed one of the nations top recruiting divisions.Scott actively addresses competitive staffing issues at utility conferences and forums throughout North America and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, KEMA, Retail Energy Foresight, Restructuring Today, Power Executive, Power Marketers Association and other industry media outlets.Scott earned his BS from the University of Georgia in Athens where he was a scholarship athlete in the football program serving as Captain and honored as the Outstanding Out of State Football Athlete his senior season. Scott's two former offensive teammates Terrell Davis and Hines Ward were both awarded Super Bowl MVP honors on their way to winning the NFL Championship. Scott completed his MS in Counseling with an emphasis in Career Development from Sacramento State University . He is a former Board member of Power Association of Northern California (PANC) and is a member of the Utility Marketing Association (UMA), Energy Services Marketing Society, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA).
