Rutland Regional Medical Center's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides a wide range of testing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Laboratory supports the work of the hospital's medical staff by providing accurate analysis and quick turn-around of laboratory tests. It also provides services to area physician offices, long-term care facilities, home health agencies, corporations and others. The Laboratory has earned accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and Health & Human Services CLIA. It is an affiliate of the NorthEast Community Laboratory Alliance (NECLA), Fletchen Allen Health Care (Burlington, Vermont) and Mayo Medical Laboratories (Rochester, Minnesota).
