Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC (HGA) was initially established in 1997 to provide project management and engineering services to the Wood Products Manufacturing Industry and the Public Works sector. The new company opened its office in Simsboro, Louisiana and then moved to Ruston, Louisiana in 1999 to its present location on Mississippi Avenue in downtown. HGA renovated an older five-story building built in 1926 by the TL James Company for use as its corporate headquarters. In 2001, HGA recognized that a need existed for technical services in other industries, and; began to strategically add key personnel to service the growing client base. Since that time, HGA has expanded expertise to include not only the Wood Products Industry and the Public Sector, but also expertise in Pulp and Paper, Specialty Chemicals, Oil and Gas, Refineries, Environmental, Power and the Automotive Industry. HGA's client base continues to grow and so does the geographic region that they serve. Currently, HGA has completed projects in over twenty states and two Canadian provinces. HGA's principal personnel are all engineers with extensive industrial experience. Many on the staff have over of 25 years of experience and includes personnel with backgrounds in civil, structural, mechanical, chemical process, electrical and instrumentation. HGA associates include engineers with professional registration in all major disciplines and multiple states. HGA maintains a staff with expertise in Project Management, Construction Management and Maintenance Planning. From its inception, HGA has strived to fill a need for Control System Integration and Automation services. In 2003, HGA formally introduced Dynamic Controls and Automation (DynaTrols). Through DynaTrols, HGA goes beyond the offerings of traditional consulting engineering firms and provides for their clients PLC, DCS and HMI system design, configuration, programming and startup services. In recent years, HGA recognized the technical downsizing trend that has been taking place in industry, making available highly competent personnel and opening up numerous positions formerly held by these professionals. In 2004, HGA formally announced a new business segment dedicated to providing On-Site Staffing Services for industry. With its extensive list of available personnel, HGA can provide full-time, part-time, temporary or permanent contract personnel with a broad range of expertise to a diverse customer base.
