Wheat Tech, Inc. is an independent group of crop consultants based in Russellville, KY. Our primary goal is to provide growers with an agronomically sound scouting program. Our specialty is intensively managed wheat production utilizing our experience and backed up by our research plots. We currently have customers in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee. Being independent means that we do not work for any crop protectant, fertilizer or seed companies. We do not sell any inputs and our recommendations are based on experience, research data and an unbiased view of the available products. Our consultants work directly with the grower to develop management strategies that will maximize the economic return of the wheat crop. The service is cradle to grave in that every input from preplant fertility to late season fungicide use must be scrutinized to determine agronomic soundness. The consultant is most efficient when working a relatively small geographic area with a high concentration of progressive growers. For this reason, we have placed consultants in the areas of high demand.
