Howard Press was started as a store-front operation with three employees in 1970. Today, we employ 100 people in more than 150,000 square feet of space in three plants located in Linden New Jersey and Roselle New Jersey. Howard Press is proud to be an ISO 9001 certified organization. We are specialists in contractual printing. While almost 70% of our total business volume is secured by formal agreements, we also produce a large volume of fine printing on a task-to-task basis. We offer a more complete line of internally-produced printed products than almost every printer, because the equipment in each of our plants has been designed to process a wide variety of different types of work. We produce the highest quality six color lithography for Annual Reports and Sales Promotion Literature, as well as single-color, quick-copy Technical and Training Manuals. We manufacture Business Forms (snap-sets and continuous; carbonless and carbon-interleaved; flat); Books, Directories, Transportation Schedules, Tab Dividers, Acetate Templates, and other general commercial print requirements. In addition to over ten offset presses (from 41" six-color sheet through 35" two-unit web) we have complete art, typesetting, preparatory, replication and binding facilities in-house. In a separate 80,000 square foot building, we offer computer-controlled printed matter storage, ship-and-bill procedures, and pick-n-pack operations. Our customer base consists primarily of Fortune 500 corporations. A current list of major clients and references from each are available upon request.
