The Rockford Housing Authority is a municipal corporation established under Chapter 67 1/2 of the Illinois statues. It is governed by a Board of five (5) Commissioners who are appointed to staggered five-year terms by the Mayor of the City of Rockford. Board officers are elected annually by majority vote of the Board of Commissioners.
