2001, Keystate made the decision to withdraw from writing crop insurance business in the Northern Plains states and to cease writing the Farm and Ranch progam. 2001, September, KEYSTATE became part of the Producers Ag Insurance Group. This is the most positive change, ever made by KEYSTATE, for the long-term future of the company. KEYSTATE becomes a part of the Producers Ag Insurance Group of companies as well as NetJava, (commercial internet server systems), and Emrys Systems software solutions (internet based software systems developer). Keystate has completed 20 years as a crop insurance MGA. The Producers Ag Insurance Group has completed 75 years of service as a crop insurance writer. 2002, KEYSTATE no longer writes crop insurance coverage in Texas. The Producers Ag Insurance Group is domiciled in that state and has written crop insurance business there for more than 75 years. 2003, expanded operations to include the states of MS. and TN. Keystate insures crops in the states of AR., FL., GA., ID., IL., IN., KS., MO., MS., TN.
