The Norton Younglove Community Center, fondly known as “The Norton,” has been a vital hub for the Highgrove, California community since its establishment in 1996. Founded through the vision of Riverside County Supervisor Norton Younglove and now operated by the Family Service Association, the center is dedicated to fostering strong, connected, and supported families while addressing challenges such as poverty, hunger, and health disparities. Offering programs for youth enrichment, family and senior support, food distribution, cultural events, and more, it is a welcoming space for individuals of all ages to grow, thrive, and belong. Guided by the motto “Where Family Strength is Community Strength,” the center continues to honor its agricultural heritage and the legacy of Supervisor Younglove by cultivating opportunities for community empowerment and inclusivity.
