RVAC provides a highly challenging and rewarding volunteer experience â€Â" as well as one that can help with a future career. Several of our members have found secure employment with the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), as well as with private ambulance services. For them, the Ridgewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps was an important stepping stone to obtaining their current positions.
