FOCUS Publications, Inc. publishes the bi-monthly FOCUS Journal for Respiratory Care & Sleep Medicine as well as the annual FOCUS Manager's Guide to Respiratory Care & Sleep Medicine Equipment, Supplies & Services, the leading, highest circulated magazine and buyer's guide serving the professions of Respiratory Care & Sleep Medicine. After 25 years of producing regional conferences, Focus, seven years ago, produced its first national conference for respiratory therapists, sleep technologists and critical care nurses. Seven annual conferences have been produced since then and have become well-known as a vastly different experience from anything attendees have ever experienced at a medical conference before. Different because the Focus Conference combines a superb educational experience with a fantastic entertainment experience all of which is included in a registration fee that takes into consideration the fact that most people going to conferences these days receive little if any reimbursement to do so. The chairman of the FOCUS Conference is Bob Miglino, RRT BSRT MPS. Over twenty five other respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, nurses and physicians assist Bob and serve on the conference committee each year. This April 10-12, 2008, in Nashville, we celebrate our 8th conference. We hope you will join us at this year's conference and we hope you will spread the word amongst your friends and colleagues.
