Formed in 1995, Bamboo Solutions was started as a division of VIDAR Systems Corporation. In 2002, Bamboo Solutions Corporation was established as a privately held company and fully owned subsidiary of Yggdrasil AB of Malmo, Sweden. Bamboo Solutions clients include Hewlett Packard, the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Social Security Administration, The National Library of Medicine, Canfor Corporation, FMC Jetway Systems, Littelfuse, Ohio Tobacco Use Prevention and Control Foundation and Lowers and Associates. Bamboo Solutions Corporation is located in Reston, Virginia, just outside of Washington DC.
