Alexander Randolph is a financial services firm which specializes in comprehensive wealth management, investment management, employee benefits, accounting services and tax consulting and preparation. Our primary objective is to maintain the unparalleled combination of exceptional service and superior technical expertise. Below is a brief biography of each member of our senior professional staff. DONALD R. SWABY, CFP: Senior Partner, is one of the founders of Alexander Randolph and is a co-chairperson of our investment management committee. Prior to founding Alexander Randolph in 1991, Don held senior management positions in two other investment advisory firms and was a member of the United States Marine Corps for 20 years. While in the Marine Corps, Don was an instructor of Financial Management and Accounting at the U.S Naval Academy and taught finance courses at a number of universities and community colleges. Don holds a BBA degree in Marketing, an MBA degree in Finance and is a Certified Financial Planner. GARY W. SCHLAFFER: Senior Partner, manages our investment and wealth management operations and is a co-chairperson of our investment management committee. Gary has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry holding senior positions in two other investment advisory firms prior to joining Alexander Randolph in 1993. Gary holds a BS degree in Business Administration and an MS degree in Finance and has taught investment analysis, portfolio management and corporate finance at a number of universities. ROBERT A. KRUEGER, CPA: Senior Partner, manages our accounting and tax operations and is a member of our investment management committee. After entering the accounting profession in 1986, Rob spent seven years at KPMG Peat Marwick and owned an independent tax and accounting practice for five years prior to joining Alexander Randolph in 2000. Rob holds a BS degree in Health Care Administration, an MBA in Finance and Accounting and obtained his CPA license in 1987. EMILY M. CHIANG, CFP: Partner, is a member of our investment management committee and is responsible for providing investment and wealth management services for many of our clients. Emily has been in the financial services industry since 1987 with experience in banking, financial planning and investment management prior to joining Alexander Randolph in 1994. Emily holds a BS degree in Business Management, an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance, is a Certified Financial Planner and has served on the board of the Northern Virginia Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. MATTHEW D. SHRIVER, CFA, CFP: Senior Analyst, is a member of our investment management committee and is responsible for conducting the proprietary research on many of the investments we purchase and hold in client accounts. Matt has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry holding various positions at Charles Schwab & Co, Calvert Securities and Smith Barney Shearson prior to joining Alexander Randolph in 2002. Matt holds BBA degrees in both Finance and Accounting and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner. NORMA M. GREGORIO: Partner, manages the sales and marketing efforts for Alexander Randolph's Employee Benefits Division. Norma has 17 years of sales and marketing management experience holding positions at Gannett, Marriott International and Interstate Hotels. Norma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is an active member in the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Society for Human Resource Management. MICHELLE ROTH: Partner, manages accounts for our employee benefits and insurance clients. Michelle has been working in the insurance industry since 1995 with a concentration in employee benefits for small to medium size employers. Michelle holds a BS degree in Psychology. GAIL SUTHERLAND: Partner, account manager for our employee benefits and insurance based clients. Gail has been working in the insurance industry since 1992 with a concentration on employee benefits for small to medium size companies. Gail completed her Master Class Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC) in April 2004. She holds a BA in Education.
