We are free to survey the marketplace for solutions to our clients' issues and offer solutions to our clients from numerous sources. The easiest way to understand this is to imagine that you may only feed your family from one store for the several years. A traditional national broker/dealer would be the equivalent of the convenience store. They would have one or two products in each major food area probably branded under the convenience store's name and the pricing will generally be a little higher than at a traditional grocery store. An independent broker/dealer would be like a super center grocery store with many brands and many more selections available in each food category. When given the choice, most people would prefer to shop for food over the longer term at the super center as it will provide the option of a more balanced diet. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He began his financial services career in April 1971 in Reed City, Michigan. Richard has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. In 2002, Michigan Governor John Engler appointed Richard to serve as a Trustee of the Michigan Municipal Bond Authority. Richard and his wife Johnell reside in Reed City, Michigan.
