Bridges to Employment, a division of Alternatives, Inc. provides Transition Services to today's youth through a very innovative approach. We partner with the requesting school district to provide an individualized variation of the following services to their students:· Classroom Learning(Job Retention, Job Seeking & Related Soft Skills Training)· Individualized Community Based Vocational Assessments (CBVA)· Job Sampling and Situational Assessments (in the community)· Job Coaching ServicesWe work collaboratively with the Child Study Team, the Student and their Family, as appropriate. We also have an ongoing relationship with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS). We work with the school district to connect the students with DVRS services prior to Graduation. Our goal is to increase the opportunities for success for the student who plans to graduate high school and go on to work. We do our best to eliminate that gap that occurs between the end of high school and the beginning of adult service provision and/or work.
