In early 2005, we launched our Insurance and Financial Solutions Division. You can also count on CBQ Services for your life insurance, health insurance and other financial needs. Formerly known as Credit Bureau of Quincy, Inc., CBQ Services is locally owned and operated. Our offices are in the historic WCU Building at 510 Maine Street, Suite 400 in downtown Quincy, Illinois. (now known as CBQ Services) was established in 1921 as a merchant-owned credit reporting and collection agency. The company was purchased by its then-manager Sid Weseman in the 1940's and remained in the same family for some 40 years. New ownership arrived in the late 1980's and the company changed hands again to its current ownership in 2001 when it was re-named CBQ Services. CBQ Services is nationally affiliated with Trans Union (TU), one of the nations leading credit reporting agencies, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. CBQ Services also offers professional and ethical debt collection services to a wide variety of businesses. Debt collection services are performed on a contingency fee basis. We have a modern computer system to provide detailed billing statements and comprehensive account status reports. In addition, with the aid of computers we can easily calendar follow-up dates with consumers who are scheduled to pay or be contacted further.
