LIN TV Corp. (LIN TV) is a local television and digital media company, owning and/or operating 29 television stations in 17 United States markets, all of which are affiliated with a national broadcast network. The Company’s stations deliver local news and community stories, along with sports and entertainment programming United States television homes. The Company provides free, over-the-air broadcasts of its programming 24 hours per day to the communities, it is licensed to serve. LIN TV operates multiple stations in nine of its markets. All the Company’s stations are affiliated with one of the national television networks, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW, MyNetworkTV, Telefutura or Univision. During the year ended December 31, 2007, LIN TV completed the sale of its 700 megahertz licenses to Aloha Partners, L.P. and completed the sale of it 33% interest in the WAND(TV) Partnership.
