GIM'S PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT DISCIPLINE: Portfolio asset allocation is determined in consultation with the clients and complies with client financial objectives and risk tolerance. Portfolios are managed in accordance with the investment policy of the client and are broadly diversified to reduce individual security risk. Portfolios are mostly invested in Exchange Traded Funds (Equity and Bond ETFs), index funds, and managed equity and bond mutual Funds (for emerging market investments only). Portfolios are rebalanced to the investment policy either continually using new cash, or semi-annually using existing portfolio investments. Ram Kolluri - Chief Executive Officer/Chief Investment Officer: Ram is the President of Global Investment Management, Inc. (GIM) serving as both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. After working as a financial analyst for CBS, Ram began his career in investments with the New York office of Merrill Lynch in 1980. After moving to Princeton in 1981, he joined with a well-known financial planner to establish GIM as a two-office partnership, then known as Individual Asset Planning Corporation. In 1997, Ram renamed the firm GlobalValue Investors (1997) when the Morristown office merged with a local financial planning firm, and to Global Investment Management, Inc (2004). During the course of his career, Ram developed proprietary valuation models for the U.S. and international equity markets. He has gained considerable public and professional attention for the manner in which he has applied his highly successful quantitative research capabilities to portfolio management. Ram previously wrote the weekly column, "The Market View," for the Trenton Times. In addition, he widely quoted in the press including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Business Week, as well as in many other professional journals and news papers. Ram is often invited as a speaker and panelist at numerous professional meetings and has appeared on CNN, CNN/fn, CNBC, PBS, and Bloomberg Radio and Television. Born in India, Ram holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Andhra University and an M.B.A. from Pace University. He also holds certificates as a Chartered Accountant in India and a Certified Financial Planner from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
