Novaflux Technologies
Info
We have been developing commercially successful products for over ten years. We started with the simple and challenging task of removing biofilm from the lumen of small diameter dental tubing. As we succeeded in solving this fundamental and critical problem, removal of biofilm from narrow lumens, we realized that this was only the beginning. As a technology company, the search for novel and exciting ways to apply our patented cleaning process is without end, and we seized every opportunity. We branched out into endoscope and hemodialyzer reprocessing, moved from simple dental waterlines to dental handpiece, and then validated clean-in-place methods in the food and beverage industry. Our successful extension into membrane cleaning has made water treatment, reuse and recycling a major opportunity for the Novaflux discovery. In our journey, we learned that biofilm is not the only adhering contaminant that looses the battle against the Novaflux process. Other contenders, such as protein deposits, tissue fragments, blood and cell fragments, biofoulants, inorganic scale, humic substances, particulates such as silt and clay, milk fats and proteins, food residues, and other adhering materials, have all stepped into the ring and lost the fight with the Novaflux process. Our most recent breakthrough has been with spiral wound membranes, specifically the ability to clean them more effectively and efficiently than the current industry standard. Novaflux has evolved from a small R&D company concerned with biofilm removal, to a company that has several validated product lines that spans many industries.
