MicroService began operations back in January of 1999, when owner Chris West left working for another local computer company to begin to offer the service he saw that the businesses of Eastern Kentucky needed. Several previous customers of his signed on with MicroService, and they've stayed on for the 7 years we've been in operation. MicroService began with Chris' desire to provide top-quality services and computer products to businesses in a 10-county service area. His 20 years of experience in the computer field, specifically working with personal computer and file servers since 1986, meant that MicroService started with most of the tools it needed to succeed in the Eastern Kentucky region which was sorely lacking adequate computer services for business. MicroService has performed service work for its 10-county service area which includes Pike, Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Knott, Perry, Breathitt, Martin, Lawrence, and Letcher counties with promptness, courtesy, honesty, and professionalism. MicroService has subcontracted for firms in Nebraska and Kansas City, Missouri, working in North and South Carolina and Alabama on occasion. In 2003 Chris West started PointsWest, L.L.C. as sole owner and MicroService then became a division of PointsWest. PointsWest also owns Timeless Web Design and several other business ventures. In the 7 years since we began, MicroService has serviced Eastern Kentucky business flawlessly and started with a promise to be on site in any emergency within 2 hours. We've been able to keep that promise all this time and pride ourselves in the knowledge that we are offering the businesses of Eastern Kentucky the very best and most expert service available anywhere.
