Marc Toney & Associates was founded in 1989 to provide the finest and most comprehensive on-site safety training for powered industrial truck operators and trainers. Marc conducted his first Forklift Operator training class in April 1980. Since then he has worked with hundreds of companies and thousands of participants in forklift classes in California, Nevada, and Baja California. He has written safety articles for over fifteen publications, as well as been a contributor to a manufacturers' safety program. In addition to conducting safety training classes, as a sales manager and safety manager, he has extensive background in powered industrial truck equipment specification for all types of workplace and warehouse applications. This background well suites him for the forklift and workplace related topics that are required for an effective powered industrial truck operator safety training program. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Mary Lynn G. Toney is a regulatory safety compliance specialist for Marc Toney & Associates. Her educational background includes a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado and a post-graduate Paralegal Certification from the University of San Diego. She currently writes site-specific regulatory compliance safety programs, including training materials for all types of companies that contract with Marc Toney & Associates: On-Site Safety Training. She also possesses a current California multiple subject teaching credential authorizing adult education, which allows her to bring the most current instructional materials to all the safety training programs required by statute. In addition, she provides regulatory compliance information and assists in conducting facility safety reviews for clients. Marc Toney & Associates also prepares Site Specific Injury and Illness Prevention Programs to meet all the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations § 3203. Our site specific Injury and Illness Prevention Programs are in written manual form and on-line intranet format for easy and efficient employee orientation. Supervisors and managers sometimes need assistance in keeping IIPP Programs active, so Marc Toney & Associates also provides Injury and Illness Prevention Program Administrator training so that your IIPP Administrator, as well as managers and supervisors, know how to implement all eight elements of the IIPP in their work area, and maintain appropriate records and documentation that may be necessary in case of a Cal/OSHA inspection.
