The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon is a nationally accredited four-year college that trains master's and doctoral degree students in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Founded in 1983, OCOM has grown from 17 faculty members and students in the first years to more than 250 students, faculty, staff and administrators. The college also operates a teaching clinic, the OCOM Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic, with a Faculty Practice and an Intern Clinic providing affordable health care to an estimated 1,500 patients per month throughout the Portland metropolitan area.
