When Liberty Northwest was founded in 1983, our vision was to focus on meeting the insurance needs of the Northwest business community. By providing excellent customer service and innovative programs, we became the number one private workers' compensation insurer in Oregon, Idaho and Montana. On January 1, 2002, Liberty Northwest acquired North Pacific and Oregon Automobile Insurance Companies, companies with a similar vision and commitment to the Northwest. This effectively doubled the size of the organization. With North Pacific and Oregon Automobile, we now have broadly diversified into business and personal lines property and casualty, as well as workers' compensation. Our vision has now expanded, just as our company has, as we work to be the premier property and casualty insurer in the Northwest.
