sera fina is a 1st generation winery from a 5th generation winemaker in Amador County. The Scotto family has a long history of winemaking. My great grandfather immigrated to the east coast from Italy in 1903, and 60 years later his son bought a winery in California. His tradition of teaching the family to make wine was passed along to me, with the help of a little extra homework from the enology program at UC Davis.
