Polymerix Corporation is a privately held company founded in 2000 to commercialize a unique, patented technology that allows for the polymerization of a broad range of pharmaceutical compounds. This PolymerDrugâ„¢ technology platform creates a wide variety of pharmaceutical and medical device product opportunities and is expected to confer significant advantages to many marketed products as well as those currently under development. Our management team has significant experience in polymer chemistry, pharmaceutical R&D and business development and we are located in 15,000 square feet of state of the art laboratories and office space in Piscataway, NJ. We intend to partner with global leaders in specific fields, and to use revenues from near-term medical device products to help offset the costs of developing our own pharmaceutical products in defined therapeutic categories. In 2003, we entered into a partnership with Boston Scientific Corporation for several medical device applications.
