Prescriptions, especially, are handled more efficiently thru electronic means, and we have cut our time to refill medications by more than one half. In many cases, prescriptions will be ready at your pharmacy within minutes of your call or office visit. Future enhancements to our system will include the ability for patients to electronically communicate with our offices thru the internet, including requesting refills and appointments. Even "E-consultations" will be available. Since 2004 our medical offices have been a national show site for other medical groups interested in the use of electronic medical records. We have hosted physicians from around the country, who come to learn from us. Our physicians have participated in, spoken at, and have led conferences on efficient medical practice and the use of electronic medical records.
