Asian Arts Council provides you with a chance to join a very active group of people who are learning about Asian art while helping Phoenix Art Museum's collection grow. Do you know that Phoenix Art Museum is known worldwide for its collection of Asian art? Do you know that the Museum's exhibitions of Asian art travel throughout the world, accompanied by catalogs published by Phoenix Art Museum? If you answered "no" to any of these questions, you should take the opportunity to join the Museum's Asian Arts Council now and become an important partner in these activities. Asian Arts Council's mission is to promote interest in and understanding of Asian art and the Museum's collection through education and programs, to help sponsor the Museum's exhibitions and collection acquisitions, and to provide a focal point and forum for Asian art in the community. AAC presents travel opportunities, a monthly gallery talk for visitors to the Museum, lectures, and much more. We invite you to join us! The purpose of the Asian Arts Council is to promote interest in and understanding of Asian art, including but not limited to Chinese, Japanese and Indian art. In conjunction with the Phoenix Art Museum, the Council will provide educational programs, help sponsor exhibitions, encourage acquisitions and provide activities for individuals interested in studying and collecting Asian art.
