North West Fire Fighters, Inc. (NWFF) was established in 1989 to provide quality emergency services for the United States Forest Service, the Oregon Department of Forestry, and the Washington Department of Natural Resources. Utilizing skills developed through years of experience in Fire-fighting, Emergency Services, and Incident Management, our services include 24-Hour Environmental Response, Analysis, Management, and Remediation projects. We are dedicated to maintaining highly professional, ethical, and competitive services for the public and private sectors. It is our primary goal to provide the best possible services to our clients in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The professional staff at NWFF provide clients with experience in the management and remediation of Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and fuel incidents of all types, including industrial chemical spills, transportation spill accidents, pipeline failures, and underground storage tank analysis and remediation. With a fleet of fully equipped HAZMAT and Fire-fighting vehicles, we provide testing, containment, and sampling equipment for a wide variety of emergency and time-critical incidents. Related services include the provision of Universal Waste Management, Environmental Site Assessments, Risk Management Programs, and Facility Compliance Audits. NWFF staff provides technical training and certification in HAZMAT Response, Emergency First Aid and CPR, and Structural and Wildland Fire-fighting. All work conducted by NWFF is accompanied by clear, concise, written reporting of field work, communications, and necessary regulatory and support documentation. NWFF main offices are located in the Oregon cities of Philomath, Springfield, and Salem. Affiliate NWFF HAZMAT Teams in Prineville, Baker City, Portland, and Astoria provide coverage for the east half of the state and the entire Northwest Region. NWFF also manages spill responses across all 50 states and Canada using our national network of 233 environmental companies and general contractors. All NWFF HAZMAT Technicians have a minimum of 40 hours of HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR Training. Senior management staff have particular expertise in the Incident Command System (ICS), Federal and State Hazardous Waste Regulations, OSHA regulations, Emergency Medical Services, Environmental Sciences, and Industrial Engineering and Safety.
