The African-American Genealogy Group (AAGG), a 501(C3) not-for-profit organization was founded in January, 1989 in response to the ever-increasing number of people who express a desire to research their family "roots". AAGG is dedicated to the encouragement of and support for genealogy research, serving the African-American community of Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. Our membership has steadily grown with the addition of both novice and advanced researchers.
