Thinkframe's new exterior signage system for the Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library has been installed and is now helping visitors find their way through this historical treasure near Wilmington, Delaware. Our system of more than 540 signs will shape the Winterthur experience for the more than 200,000 individuals who visit annually. Thinkframe's system not only provides identity and directional solutions, but also helps establish a sense of place. We incorporated curved forms and traditional wrought iron finishes to complement Winterthur's beautiful rolling landscape as well as it sense of history: the museum is home to one of the finest collections of American decorative arts from the 17th through 19th centuries. The comprehensive system includes 15 major sign types, such as an entrance and changeable message signs, building and gate identification, and street and path directional signage.
