SPECTOR Gallery opened in 1999 to showcase Philadelphia emerging artists and for the next 7 years garnered local, national, and international acclaim. In 2006 the gallery closed its physical space to continue its mission as SPECTOR Projects, this time working outside the traditional gallery format. Projects include Artjaw.com, a collection of first-person stories from Philly’s art scene.
