IIG was established by Karen Warth, Michael Russell, and Lee Mikles in October 1999. The co-founders identified a unique need, and in response, put their collective interactive, marketing, and pharmaceutical experience to work to address the needs of healthcare clients who were seeking more out of their interactive marketing efforts. With early roots in Wilmington, Del. IIG moved to Philadelphia, Pa. in May 2002 to capitalize on the strategic location between New Jersey, New York, and the Philadelphia suburbs, where many of the nation's leading pharmaceutical companies reside. Since inception, IIG has experienced exponential growth, expanding from eight employees from its inception to more than 40 employees just three years later.
