Originally P&H provided art services to a wide range of clients. The firm grew quickly, attracting the nation's top illustrators and calligraphers to its burgeoning staff. Hall of Fame artists such as Stan Galli, Bruce Bomberger, Fred Ludekins, and Charlie Allen helped the agency attract clients from across the nation. P&H became one of the largest design services on the West Coast, producing art, ads, and an immeasurable volume of sales materials that helped define decades of consumer culture.
