(Jackson Hewitt) provides computerized preparation of federal, state and local individual income tax returns through a network of franchised and Company-owned offices operating under the brand name Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in the United States. The Company provides its customers with accurate tax return preparation services and electronic filing of their tax returns. Its customers may select various financial products to suit their needs, including refund anticipation loans (RALs). During the fiscal year ended April 30, 2008 (fiscal 2008), the Company's network consisted of 6,763 franchised and company owned offices and prepared 3.39 million tax returns.
