Creative Communicating has a unique line of products and services for special educators, therapists, parents, children and students. Our products include teacher resource manuals, videos, puppets, software programs, adaptive equipment, engineering materials, workshops and on-line courses. Creative Communicating has brought innovative products into the early childhood and emergent literacy arena for over twelve years. We continue to lead the industry with new products and fresh ideas. Our Mission is to provide "Classroom or Home Grown" products that are based upon the successful therapy and hands-on learning experiences of Pati King-Debaun and other professionals. We continually strive to simplify materials and strategies so the end product is easy to use and beneficial to the children. Pati King-DeBaun founded the company in 1989 as a means to share, publish and distribute materials that focused on building early language, communication and emergent literacy skills for young children with disabilities. She started with preschool-based materials and expanded the language/communication and emergent literacy focus to infants and toddlers, school age children, and young adults as her company and interests grew. She currently conducts workshops worldwide, and consults with classrooms using her intensive training model.
