The Tropical Fruit Shop is the oldest store in Palm Beach, established in 1915. That's when Palm Beach was established as the place to go for tropical vacations! Many locals still remember Gertrude Smith, who worked in the store for over 42 years. Gertrude created the level of service and Southern hospitality that continues today.
