The St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) is a Florida regulatory agency established to preserve water resources. SJRWMD strikes a balance in the water needs of people and the environment by issuing permits, educating the public about water conservation, setting rules for water use, conducting research, collecting data, buying and managing land, and restoring and protecting water above and below the ground.
