1880 Austin Rd, 55060 Owatonna"Mental Health Professionals, Inc. strives to provide its consumers and referral sources with psychological and psychiatric services reflecting the highest standards of professional care provided with sensitivity, compassion and respect." Each of the corporation's staff is accepted for employment based on clear and compelling evidence of their ability to contribute to their respective fields and to our clientele. We are committed to excellence in the provision of our services. We will work to demonstrate such excellence by obtaining psychometric (outcome) measures that can reliably measure our client's progress. We will also routinely seek feedback from our consumers such that we can tend to any aspect of our service delivery that can be improved upon or otherwise enhanced. We recognize that the services we provide are but one facet of a client's overall continuity of health care and for this reason endeavor to facilitate high levels of communication and collaboration with our clientele's primary care physicians and with other specialists involved in their care. We also recognize that as we treat any member of a family the actions we take affect the family system in which that person lives. We consider the potential impact of our interventions on not only our clientele, but also on our clientele's immediate and extended families. Ethical issues are always at the forefront of the corporation's employees minds. The staff understands that it is a sign of professionalism to question and challenge any action taken to ensure that our behavior will hold up under rigorous ethical scrutiny. We also commit to the moral, legal, and ethical principals that are involved with billing for services. We refuse to participate in any course of action that would violate our ethics or state law. We recognize the importance of understanding what we know versus what we do not know and also recognize that our respective fields have histories that not only contain humanitarian uses, but also misuses. We will work earnestly to remain alert so as to avoid any misuses of our fields as they apply to the treatment of mental disorders. Diagnosis and treatment should be a dynamic process and we agree to stand ready to jettison any diagnosis or treatment approach when additional feedback or information reveals that our previous impressions no longer hold true or effective. We recognize the pitfalls of operating in a vacuum and for this reason will regularly seek out the opinions of our colleagues such that we can increase our confidence that we are serving the best interests of our clients. We agree that it is important to take our work very seriously but not extend such seriousness to the way in which we take ourselves. We strive toward being realistic about what we can and cannot offer our clientele.
