SVZ is an internationally operating company engaged in the development, production, sales and distribution of fruit- and vegetable raw materials and ingredients to the global food industry. SVZ's history dates back to 1867 where A. Zwanenburg established his trading activities including fruit & vegetable products in the Netherlands. Since 1986 SVZ is part of the Royal Cosun group. Cosun was established more than one hundred years ago when Dutch farmers set up their own cooperative which nowadays amounts to 12,500 member shareholders. During the past century Cosun has grown into an international group of companies which develop, produce and sell natural food and ingredients with operations all over the world. With an average workforce of 4,200, Cosun realises an annual turnover of about , 1.5 billion.
