ProGene Plant Research is a small privately owned seed business that specializes in Peas, Triticale and Oats. Kurt Braunwart, managing owner, worked for Rogers Brothers Seed Company (now part of Syngenta) for 16 years before moving into private business in 1990. ProGene Plant Research bases its business on their pea breeding program and their applied research work in peas, triticale and oats. As a small company we are still able to make far reaching advancements through our nationwide network.
