Founder Veronica Opoku opened Compassionate Hearts & Homemakers in White Plains, New York, after experiencing first-hand the amount of care, courage, and patience that goes into caring for an elder. She witnessed her sisters take care of her father, a strong man who suffered from a stroke and was unable to do many things. This experience inspired her to provide fulfilling services with a philosophy founded on compassion; she wants to make sure people get the comfort and care they deserve.
