Pacific Mezzanine Fund, L.P. ("PMF") is a licensed Small Business Investment Company ("SBIC") formed to invest growth capital in middle-market companies located primarily in the western United States. The Fund has financial resources in excess of $82 million comprised of PMF partnership equity and access to funding guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Since formation, we have invested over $100 million in more than 30 companies. Pacific Mezzanine Fund will invest between $2.0 million to $4.0 million in a structure that is flexible and suited to each company's unique needs. Usually, our investments are equity-linked debt securities with a current income and the possibility of attractive capital gains. In all cases, our most important investment criteria are related to the growth prospects of the company and the experience and integrity of the management team that will lead the company to new achievements and realize shareholder value using our capital. It is not our intent to operate or control companies. Our goal is to achieve a substantial return on our capital in partnership with management, as opposed to micromanaging our portfolio companies. Our level of involvement ranges from passive board observation, to providing board member services by participating in growth capital investment decisions, charting strategic growth business plans and developing key relationships. We are eager to customize our investment structure around the unique needs of a potential investment and the opportunities that it presents.
