NMC, an affiliate of Methodist Health System is a fully accredited, private four-year degree granting health professions college. Established in 1891, NMC provides its more than 500 students with excellent clinical experiences in facilities such as Methodist Hospital and area medical clinics, extended care facilities and home care programs. NMC offers undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs. Areas of study include nursing (including the accelerated nursing education program, RN to BSN, graduate nursing educator), sonography, radiologic technology, phlebotomy, surgical technology, respiratory care, medical assistant, health promotions and emergency medical services. The Department of Continuing Education also offers a variety of classes. Several programs and classes are available online.
