Olean Wholesale Grocery Cooperative, Inc. is a cooperative food distributor that was founded in 1922. In our 86 years we have conducted business for the sole benefit of independent retail grocers. Operating out of a 360,000 square foot distribution center in Olean, New York, the Cooperative currently services retail members and a large number of non-members retailers in Western and Central New York, Western Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio. From our facility we supply member/retailers with a complete line of merchandise, including, grocery products, store supplies, health and beauty care, tobacco, produce, dairy, frozen food and bakery, fresh and frozen meat, and deli products. Services that support an independent merchant have always been paramount at the Cooperative. These services include sales planning, advertising, store design and development, retail systems support, merchandising, accounting, store counseling, retail pricing, and retail electronic communications. We are committed to offer our members the lowest cost of goods combined with the highest quality of retail services.
