Steve Petersen has served as the President of the Utah Steel Fabricators Association. Rob Despain, Petersen Inc.'s V.P. of Business Development has also served as President of the Utah Steel Fabricators Association. Petersen Inc. is involved in promoting Utah companies. Petersen Inc. has donated the Flagpole to Farr West City Hall, as well as designing, building and installing the stadium lights for the City Park and Baseball Fields. Petersen Inc. always loans the needed equipment to various groups and individuals throughout the community for projects benefiting the City and the people. Petersen Inc. is willing to help the kids at the local high schools and technical schools. You will often see kids touring and job shadowing at Petersen Inc. so that they learn more in a hands-on environment, and have a good view of the manufacturing world once they are able to finish their schooling. Petersen Inc. management is committed to the long-term growth, safety, and success of the local community serving in religious and community capacities whenever asked to do so, with several serving in City Councils, etc. For the past 20+ years Petersen Inc. has raised money for community charitable organizations through their annual Charity Gold Tournament.
