The Oberlin Heritage Center prides itself on being an inclusive community organization. We are a member-supported private non-profit organization with supporters--including individuals, families, businesses, and other non-profit organizations--from all walks of life, all of whom contribute different skills and assets to our organization and its programs. Whatever your specific interests, whatever your abilities, whatever your situation, there is a place for you in the Oberlin Heritage Center! Ways to get involved: Become a member: Your membership supports the preservation, maintenance, and administration of our historic sites, regular tour program, and public programs about Oberlin heritage, local history, and civic affairs. Volunteer: Volunteers of all ages from throughout the Oberlin community and beyond are the lifeblood of the Oberlin Heritage Center. They participate in a huge range of activities, from living history to gardening, giving tours to office work. Contribute: There are many ways you can contribute to the Oberlin Heritage Center--annual fund, endowment, planned giving, donation of artifacts or other supplies that we need, shopping for museums, and donations. Intern: The Oberlin Heritage Center has a vibrant intern program designed to help students from local colleges and universities gain experience working in the history, museum, and non-profit fields.
