Nestled in Oakwood, Illinois (between Champaign, IL and Danville, IL) is Thunder Wolf Trail Rides. We offer horse rentals with trails for all levels of riding ability from the beginner to the advanced. Fresh air, breath-taking scenery, and a lot of good old fashioned friendliness greets you when you arrive. Our trails are scattered over hundreds of privately owned acres that pass through the high country hilltops, across open meadows, streams, caves, crest high look-out ridges, and a pine-covered forest of peaceful solitude. We can stop to explore one of the many caves, hunt for arrow heads, or just relax. We offer a variety of horse rental packages from hourly to weekly, individual to group. Accommodations for a longer stay include camping, RV hook-ups, bunk house, and a lodge.
