Flint Hill School strives to educate students in a just, equitable and caring environment within a diverse population of students, families, faculty, and staff. The community recognizes diversity as encompassing our ethnic and racial backgrounds, the colors of our skin, the structures of our families, their socio-economic/educational backgrounds and resources, our genders and ages, our countries of origin, the languages we speak, the traditions and religions we observe, and the special needs we may have. We seek students, faculty, staff, administrators and trustees reflecting this broad definition of diversity and understand that diversity is who we are. The Flint Hill School Community is composed of people from all walks of life. Our students represent a vast number of groups and countries. Sixty-eight different countries are represented within the families and faculty/staff at FHS. The Inclusive School Committee, a standing committee of faculty and staff from all three divisions, meets throughout the year to plan activities and programs which will implement the school's diversity goals, approved by the Board of Trustees in 2000.
