Founded in 1900, the Women's Golf Association of Massachusetts is one of the oldest state women's golf association in the United States. The WGAM currently serves over 2000 individual members who belong to more than 180 member clubs. Each year the WGAM sponsors twenty-four amateur tournaments in addition to an active junior golf program open to any girl residing in Massachusetts.
