William Cumpiano is a widely-recognized master of his craft, and a teacher besides. In 1985 William R. Cumpiano published what has become the standard textbook of the trade, GUITARMAKING: Tradition & Technology. Recently William has begun to offer a small number of learners each year the opportunity to build a guitar under his close supervision in his own studio in Northampton, Massachusetts
